Gardencut shears are made from incredibly sharp, SAE 1060 high carbon-steel blades, are hardened and tempered for durability and strength. The blades have a sharp chamfer angle which minimises binding. Designed to cut up to 1.25cm branches quite easily, and strong pointed tips permit snipping in very tight spaces. They can easily cut up to 4mm Aluminium wire and #14 gauge copper making as well as thick plastics making them a super versatile all round tool. An excellent shear for beginners in Bonsai or experiences practitioners particularly for styling as this tool can do it all. Handles are Soft Flex™ polyvinyl plastic which reduces blistering during long sessions of use.
